It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph E. Colbert of Wilmington, Massachusetts, born in East Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J. Colbert and Mary Colbert (Woodland); his wife Anna E. Colbert (Troy); his son Joseph Jr. (Virginia Ann); and his siblings, Edward Colbert, Loretta Colbert, Madeline Broker and Rita Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Marie Snyer (late John) of Tyngsboro, MA and Ronald of Wilmington, MA.; and his grandchildren, Joseph Colbert of Tewksbury, MA, MaryJane Galucci of Tewksbury, MA, Patricia Morneault of Tewksbury, MA, Kathleen Anderson of Tewksbury, MA, Kenneth Colbert of Naples, FL, Kristyn Snyer McKenna of Dracut, MA and John Snyer III. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, Joe requested that memorial donations in his memory may be sent in his name to his church of St. Dorothy, Parish of the Transfiguration, 11 Harnden Street, Wilmington, MA 01887.
