We are sad to announce that on September 24, 1942, at the age of 21, John E. Edwinson Jr. (Wilmington, Massachusetts) passed away. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Sr. Edwinson and Vera M. Edwinson (Britton); and his siblings, Christine Holland (Marion), Merlin Edwinson (Harriet), Sarah Carter (Charles), Carl Edwinson (Harriet) and Dottie Blaha (John). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Wildwood Cemetery (233 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887).
