It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Murray of Wilmington, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Howard Murray to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard G. Murray and Stella Murray (Wilson); and his sisters, Norma Hembree, Barbara Griffin and Thelma Diels.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Murray (Elliott); his children, Tracey Jorgenson (Adam) of Peabody, MA, Kelle Murray of Wilmington, MA and Jody Murray (Elisha) of Wilmington, MA.; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Hannah, Hunter, Bryce Jorgenson of Peabody, MA, Ashley, Ava, Lillian Murray of Wilmington, MA, Trinidi Hamilton (Travis) and Leela Hamilton of Lyman, ME.; and his sisters, Dorothy Bragdon of Stratham, NH and Patricia McKenna of Wilmington, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). Never one to sit still, his second career brought him to Enterprise Rental Car, where he worked as a Car Prep until he was forced to retire in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Howard's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
