She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Leary and Rose Leary (Koehler); her husband Walter Neal; her son Gary M. Neal; and her sister Virginia Leonard.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Mary; her children, Walter P. Neal (Carol) of Dracut, Stephen D. Neal (Cynthia) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Deborah M. Filippi (Mark) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Derrick Neal (Carissa) of Beverly and Michelle Penta (Christopher) of South Windsor, CT; her great grandchild Madelyn Neal; and her brother Edward Leary (Mary) of Wilmington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Dorothy's Church (11 Harnden St, Wilmington, MA 01887). A burial was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (230 Playstead Rd, Medford, MA 02155).
