It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy M. McGrath of Wilmington, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wedge and Lillian Wedge (Mayo); her husband Edward McGrath; her siblings, Paul Wedge (late Maureen), George Wedge (late Mary), Walter Wedge, Robert Wedge (late Joan) and Barbara Hayward (late Jack); and her siblings-in-law, Richard McGrath (late Ruthy), Nora McGrath and Eleanor Bohan (late Lawrence).

She is survived by: her sister Barbie; her children, Cheryl Fahey (Jack) of Wilmington and Brian McGrath (Carole) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Shannon Fahey Merrifield (Justin) of North Andover, Ryan Fahey of Wilmington, Andrew McGrath of Burlington, Bill McGrath (Megan) of New Hampshire and Matt McGrath (Bethany) of New Hampshire; her great grandchildren, John, Jacob, Eliza, Emma, Bryce and Colton; and her siblings, Marion Kelley (late Henry) of California, Richard Wedge (Louise) of Billerica and Carol Tiberii (late Phillip Flammia) of New Hampshire. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas of Villanova Church (126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887).
