Denis Alexander Hanegan Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Denis Alexander Hanegan Sr. of Wilmington, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bonaventure Hanegan and Lucy Idell Daley Hanegan; his grandchild Paxton Bridegam; and his siblings, Catherine Smith, Joan "Jo Ann" Norsworthy, Richard "Bonny" Hanegan, Malachy Hanegan, Stanley Hanegan, Charles Hanegan and Helen Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Hanegan (Wojciechowski); his children, Sheila "Denise" Bridegam, Denis Hanegan Jr., Richard Hanegan (Paulina), Deborah Tetreault (Louis) and Karen Hanegan; his grandchildren, Crystal Bridegam, Cheryl Baranow (Bryan), Nicole Tetreault, Daniel Tetreault and Richard "Ricky" Hanegan II; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Mason Bridegam; and his siblings, Joe Hanegan, Lawrence Hanegan, Ralph Hanegan and Bernice Daley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas of Villanova Church (126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Wildwood Cemetery (233 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887).
