Jay M. Pasachoff Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Jay M. Pasachoff of Williamstown, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Naomi Pasachoff; his parents, Samuel and Anne Pasachoff (Traub); his daughters, Eloise and Deborah; and his sister Nancy Kutner. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
While his contributions to astronomy were many, Dr. Pasachoff was equally if not better known as, in his own words, a proselytizer: speaking to the news media, writing for general interest science publications and encouraging amateurs to share his passion for the night sky.
