He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pitoniak and Margaret Pitoniak (Blasczak); his wife Mary Anne Tanguay; and his siblings, Ralph, John, Edward, Robert Pitoniak, Elizabeth Balardini and Margaret Balardini.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Pitoniak of Sanford, ME, Christina Stark (Robert) of Cobleskill, NY, Marcia Reddington-Lawton (Mark) of Mansfield, MA, Marc Pitoniak (Joy) of Houston, TX and Anne Haigh (Ed) of Quincy, MA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
