He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis G. Girard and May Girard (Leonasio); his siblings, Geraldine Luczynski-Chouiniere and Wilfred A. Girard; and his stepsiblings, Francis and Victor Girard.
He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Girard (Jensen) of Chicopee. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
