She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. Townsend Sr.; her son Robb Townsend; her son-in-law Tom Connery; and her siblings, Louis, John, Robert, Anna, Mary and Agnes.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Connery of Feeding Hills, MA and David Townsend of Enfield, CT; her daughter-in-law Leslie Townsend of East Longmeadow, MA.; and her grandchildren, Todd Connery (Nichole), Lisa Purdue (Michael), Bryan Connery (Michelle), Emily Gallo (Mario), Margaret Potnick (Justin), Liz McFadden (Joe), Catherine (Darren), Rue and Drew Townsend (Fran). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
