Alice Mirante Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Mirante in Williamstown, Massachusetts, born in North Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 3, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Morandi and Cora Morandi (Cote); her spouse Attillio "Eddie" Mirante; her children, Dr. Diane Mirante (Edward J. Denehy) of Great Barrington, MA, Anthony Mirante (Sandra) of North Adams and Peter Mirante (Michele) of North Adams; her grandchildren, Theresa, Michael (Erin), Stephanie, Ashley and Nicholas; her great grandchild Lily; and her sisters, Kathleen McAndrews and Frances McAndrews. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Her husband died of COVID in April, 2020 after being Alice's caretaker for many years before their life came crashing down after, as pedestrians, they were struck by a car while in their late eighties.
