He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his daughters, Hannah Thomas Freedberg (Christine) of Cincinnati, Rebecca Nuernberger (Matthew) of Wakefield, MA and Sarah Samyra Freedberg of Brooklyn, NY.; his grandchildren, Theodore, Eleanor Nuernberger and William Thomas-Freedberg; his half-brothers, Nathaniel D. Freedberg (Molly Magill) of Allston, MA and Sydney Freedberg, Jr. (Martha Young); his niece Madeleine; and his nephew Nathaniel of Washington, D. C..
