He was predeceased by: his parent Judge Edwin P. Dunphy. He is survived by: his wife Martha Phinney; his children, Matthew and Jessica; his parent Elaine Hearn Dunphy; his sister Elaine D. Foster of Jersey City; and his siblings-in-law, Amy Phinney of Peru, Margie Dunphy of Williamsburg, Ann Dunphy of Boston, Wendy Harrison of Greeley, Melanie Palomino, Barbara Brunetti and Tom Brunetti of Berkeley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
