She is survived by: her parents, Donald Lawton and Jacqueline Lawton (Benedict); her children, Nickolas Curtin and Morgan Curtin (Walt Pfau); her stepdaughter Catrina; her stepgrandchild Kairi; her sisters, Katherine Lawton (Mark Hebert) and Pamela Parker (Rob); and her parents-in-law, Kathy and Michael O'Neill. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends.

“I just learned of this today 7/22/24 and it absolutely floored me. I remember working with Jess at the Lunch Box in the mid-eighties. She was truly a great girl and we had a lot of fun together working the same shift many many times. I can't even begin to tell you how sorry I am. It is a huge blow and I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Again, I am so sorry.”
