It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winnifred Stearns (Wilbraham, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 2, 2020, at the age of 109, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald A. Stearns; her son Frederic D. Stearns; her daughter-in-law Joan Stearns; her granddaughter Joanne Gancarcik; her granddaughter-in-law Tracy Stearns; her grandson Keith; and her siblings, Dorothy, Cecil and Harry Hayden.
She is survived by: her son Ronald A. Stearns (Carol Stearns); her daughter-in-law Nancy Stearns; her grandchildren, Cathleen Arnold (James Arnold), David Stearns (Amy Stearns) and Brian Stearns (Leigh Stearns); her grandson-in-law Andy Gancarcik; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew Stearns, Mackenzie, Spencer Arnold, Lily and Amelia Stearns. She is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
In memory of Peg, donations may be sent to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, Springfield, MA , one of her great loves.
