He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ellen; his sons, Carl (Karen) and Scott (Sue Gatchell) of St. George, Utah; his brother Charles; his grandchildren, Tanner, Jenika, Ian, Taylor, Wyatt, Aspen, Hayley Gatchell, Roslind, Brian Overend, David, Allie Foster, Janet and Susannna Gourlay; his great grandchildren, Tucker, Courtlyn, Skylee and Alexander; his parents, Phyllis and William E Gatchell Sr.; his granddaughter Ellen Gourlay; and his son Douglas Alan Gatchell.
