He is survived by: his wife Ethel M. (Wilder); his children, William B. (Pauline) of Brooklyn, Maire J. (Christopher) of San Francisco, Thomas J. (Nicole) of Cummington, John D. of Hanoi and Brendan S. (Amy) of Tallahasee, FL; and his grandchildren, Cullen, Kaya, Nathan and Afiri.
