He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf N. Christensen and Adelaide Christensen (Albrecht); his son Dale Warren Christensen of Wilbraham; his son-in-law Patrick M. Sheldon; and his brother Albert Christensen.
He is survived by: his wife Helen A. Chistensen (Kolakowski) of Wilbraham; his daughter Karen E. Sheldon of East Longmeadow; his daughter-in-law Mary C. Christensen of East Longmeadow; his grandchildren, Amy A. MacRae (Kevin), Christopher J. Lovell (Michelle), Thomas D. Christensen (Lindsey), Matthew W. Christensen (Casey), Andrew S. Christensen (Lisa), Daniel D. Christensen (Sarah), Ashley N. Fiddler (Michael), Amber A. Kaselouskas (Michael) and James E. Christensen (Sarah Waltsak); and his brother Philip Christensen (Donald Christensen). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, his family; and many nieces and nephews.
