With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia L. Rickert (Wilbraham, Massachusetts), born in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mayers and Irene Mayers (Kentopp); her sister Elizabeth Mayers; her stepgranddaughter Tanya L. Janovsky; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Trauger, Paul Bingham and Donald Trauger.
She is survived by: her husband K. Barry Rickert; her daughters, Diana G. Jay (Patrick) of Westfield and Tracy L. Sicbaldi of Wilbraham; her grandchildren, Kenneth J. Janovsky and Amelia J. Laprade (Janovsky); her stepgrandson Daniel E. Jay; her great grandchildren, Joshua of Westfield and Alfred of Westfield; her sisters, Joan Mayers and Wendy Haag (Lee); and her sister-in-law Joyce Bingham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ginnie's name to Grace Union Church, 10 Chapel St., Wilbraham, MA 01095 or to the charity of one's choice.
