It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas J. Gernux of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gernux and Margaret Gernux (Passig); his wife Eleanor (King); his son John; and his sister Elizabeth Brunk (Gernux).
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Gernux (Elaine) of Hampden, MA, David Gernux (Joanne) of Hampden, MA and Thomas Gernux (Carolyn) of East Longmeadow, MA; his grandchildren, Leah, Kristen, Sarah, Brian, Amy and Eric; and his great grandchildren, Emery, Logan, Ella, Ada and Benjamin. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, and countless lifelong friends.
