He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Flatern and Margaret Von Flatern (Lebel); and his brother Leonard F. Von Flatern, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Olga Von Flatern (Tetreault); his children, Ronald C. Von Flatern, Jr. (Mary), Neil F. Von Flatern (Gina), Debra Von Flatern Purdy (Robert), Susan Granahan (Daniel) and Sharon Allen; and his sisters, Eileen Sheehan, Frances Gay "Mickey" Alberici and Lea Read. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
