He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Knowlton (Crowley); and his son Robert Knowlton, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Calcasola (Joseph) of East Longmeadow, Kenneth Knowlton (Barbara) of East Longmeadow, Darlene Evelyn (John) of Feeding Hills, Michael Knowlton (Sandy) of Springfield and Carew St. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, five sisters, three brothers and several nieces and nephews.
