He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dowd and Agnes Dowd (Gahan); and his brothers, Arthur and Frank Dowd. He is survived by: his children, Michael Dowd II of Wilbraham, Kathleen Dowd-Kosiorek (Mark) of Wilbraham, Kerry Tessier (Steven) of Ludlow and Mark Dowd (Diana) of Norway; and his grandchildren, Kiernan, Kristen, Tara, Karalyn, Mary, Kate, Eva, Megan and Michael.
