She was predeceased by: her parent Brendan Bennett; her children, Martin Miller and James Miller; and her sisters, Barbara Marie and Ann Marie.

She is survived by: her parent Mary Johnson (Carney); her husband Gary; her daughter Kelly Gates of Baltimore, MD; her siblings, Joan Goff (John), John Bennett (Rose), Thomas Bennett (Lela), Michael Bennett and William Bennett; and her mother-in-law Regina Manix. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

August 12, 1943 - October 2, 2018 Brimfield/Wilbraham, Margaret "Peggy" Gates, 75, died on Tuesday, October 2, at Palmer Health Care with her family by her side after a courageous fight with Alzheimer's Disease.
