He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Emerle and Marie Emerle (Statdler). He is survived by: his wife Joyce P. Emerle (Felter); his children, Matthew Emerle of Chicopee, Susanne Jones of Winchendon, MA and Rebecca Emerle of Louisville, CO; and his grandson Michael Oyler.
