He was predeceased by: his parent Spencer Mendenhall; and his daughter Sheila. He is survived by: his parent Daisy Mendenhall (Cowan); his wife Lucy Mendenhall (Dyer); his sons, James L. of Springfield, Kevin A. of Indian Orchard, Steven J of Oklahoma City, OK and Daniel J. of Ludlow; and his sister Lorraine Beck of Wilbraham. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
