He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Sr. Fitzgerald and Mary Fitzgerald (Guyer); and his brothers, Bernie and Jack Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his wife Andrée Fitzgerald (Bordua); his daughters, Moira Fitzgerald of New Haven, CT and Erin Casper (Eric) of Smithfield, VA.; his grandchildren, Ethan, Liam and Bridget; his siblings, Beth Lofquist and Thomas Fitzgerald; his siblings-in-law, Alice Fitzgerald, Gail Bordua and Michael Bordua; and his friend John McCullough. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
