He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Sweryda and Theodore Sweryda; his brothers, John, George and Joseph Sweryda; and his son Scott Sweryda.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Sweryda (Bartels); his children, Susan Rezuke, Frank Sweryda and Eric Sweryda; his grandchildren, Todd Sweryda, Sarah White, Arielle Bures, Dan Pelissier, Zack Pelissier, Scott Sweryda, Charles Sweryda and Jesse Sweryda; and his niece Susan Foss (Rod). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
