He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. and Faith E. Lavelle, Sr. (Heald); and his daughter Linda Lee Lavelle. He is survived by: his children, Donna A. Pevay of Wilbraham and Peter J. Lavelle (Lynn F. Lavelle) of Wilbraham; his grandchildren, Scott J. Pevay (Missy A. Pevay) of East Longmeadow and Caitlin L. Sample (John R. Sample) of Wilbraham; his sister Shirley Dashnaw of Wilbraham; and his great grandchildren, Abby J. Pevay and Lilly G. Sample.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in Ed's memory can be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield MA 01104.
