He was predeceased by: his father James Murphy. He is survived by: his mother Rose Murphy (Clary); his wife Laurie Murphy (DeBarge) of Wilbraham; his children, Douglas Murphy Jr., Carley Murphy and Jonathan Murphy; his siblings, Tom Murphy (Tracy) and Michelle Phipps (Mark); his sister-in-law Debbie Skinner (Bill); and also Louie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Chapel of the Acres (21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
Burial is private for the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dakin Humane Society.
