He was predeceased by: his parents, David W. Benoit and Violet Benoit (Kissel); his siblings, Jeanne and Glenn; and his close friend Gary Quinn.
He is survived by: his son Dustin; the mother of his children Sandi; and his siblings, Suzanne, Scott and Robin. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, for whom he was a favorite uncle.
