She was predeceased by: her parent Charles Smith; and her husband John "Jack" A. Getchell Sr.. She is survived by: her parent Helen Smith (White); her children, John Getchell Jr. of Wilbraham, Michael Getchell (Nancy) of Northampton, Susan Getchell of Wilbraham and Nancy Getchell of Feeding Hills; and her grandchildren, David, John and Shelene. She is also survived by her seven great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
