It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Donald Amato Sr. of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Amato and Julia Amato (Valenti); and his brothers, Salvatore (Richard) and Marco Amato. He is survived by: his children, Karen Amato of Wilbraham, Tony Amato (Kim) of Wilbraham and Darlene Mack (Neil) of Lynnfield, MA.; his sisters, Vera Franko of Marston Mills, Rose Palazzi of Agawam and Julia Lavoie of Wellfleet, MA; his parents-in-law, Ron Lavoie, Herve Gousy, Peggy Amato and Helene Taillefer; his grandchildren, Joseph, Daniel, Jenna, Allie Mack, Gabrielle and Anthony Amato; and his aunt Margaret. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boys & Girls club of Springfield.
