He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Murphy and Marion Murphy of Brockton, MA; and his brother Michael Murphy of Abington, MA.. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Murphy (Long); his daughter Laureen Gallagher (Paul); his granddaughter Colleen Leyden (Daniel); his children, Thomas Gallagher (Kristin), Brianna Gallagher and Lisa Black (Jim); his grandchildren, Elise, Seamus and Lauren; his great grandchildren, David Murphy and Suzanne McCullough (Rob); his sister Ann MacAulay; and also, Sydney and Will.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Thomas Murphy's name to Alzheimer's Association.
