With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen A Melanson of Whitman, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 8, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy J. Melanson; her parents, John Dowling and Marie Dowling; her brother Michael Dowling; her niece Karen Rosher (Lawrence Rosher); and her siblings-in-law, Francis McAlpine and James Shea.
She is survived by: her great-nieces, Danielle Cappiello, Michaella Slicia and Alexandra Rosher; her siblings-in-law, Diane, Dorothea Shea, Betty, Brian and Randi Shea; her niece Kerri McClellan; her nephew Alex Shea Will; and her cousin Patricia Hurley.
