He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Flahive and Anne Flahive; and his close friend Joan E. Lavallee (McNeil). He is survived by: his daughter Mallory Bazinet of Boston, MA; his sisters, Michele Carey of Norwood and Francis Clare; and his nieces, Alexandra Gaffney and Shannon Carey.
