He was predeceased by: his wife Constance McClay (Pierce); his parents, James McClay and Alma McClay (Boyd); his son Kendall J. McClay; and his siblings, Jacqueline Beals, Mary Fields, William McClay and Richard McClay.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin J. McClay (Kristen) of Anderson, SC and Kerry J. Nepomuceno (Jerry) of Sutton; his brother Vail McClay of Southington, CT; his grandchildren, Jessika, Connor, Kendall, Kaleb and Katelyn; and his great grandchildren, Brady, Julian and Hudson.
