It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leona B. Cook of Whitinsville, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Howard E. Cook; her parents, Butler H. Smith and Lena Smith (Beinema); and her siblings, Henry Smith, Marvin Smith, Sidney Smith, Charlotte Starr and Anna Marie Gleason.
She is survived by: her sister Jennie; her nephew Paul Gleason; her children, Robert P. (Linda M. Cook) of Sutton, Douglas B. Cook of Auburn and Marilyn L. (Randall Conrad) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Pamela (George Leveillee), Kristen (Steve McCarthy) and Jason (Jennifer Cook); and her great grandchildren, Amanda Leveillee, Zack Cook, Josh Cook, Nicholas McCarthy and Addison McCarthy. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held privately at the Riverdale Cemetery, Providence Road, Route 122 in Whitinsville sometime in January 2021. Due to Covid-19 masks will be required as well as social distancing.
