It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Banning (Whitinsville, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Koopman and Hendrika Koopman; her husband Willard Banning; her children, Lyn Bartholomew (Tom), Pam Bajema (Jeff), Kay Holm (Steve) and Lori VanderWeele (Keith); her grandchildren, Alex Bartholomew (Kelly), Mitch Bajema (Samantha), Brady Bajema (Sarah), Andy Bartholomew (Chrissie), Abby Sampson (Shane), Taylor Bajema, Elise Memmelaar (Nick), Elena VanderWeele, Katrina Holm, Eden VanderWeele, Christian Holm and Annika Holm; her great grandchildren, Emma, Connor, Aidan, Tommy and Mckenna; and her siblings, Tom (Joan Koopman), Don (Doris Koopman), Dot (Ed Jaasma) and Bob (Dianne Koopman).
