With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecile A. Linnell (Whitinsville, Massachusetts), born in Millbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 8, 2018 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard J. "Shorty" Linnell Sr.; her son Ernest S. "Smokey" Lavalley; and her siblings, Sam Noel, Anne Hachowski, Alice Noel and Mabel Charpentier.
She is survived by: her children, Francis A. Lavalley (Linda) of Lutz, FL, Alice "Pat" Pitman of Grafton, Linda M. Winchell (Alfred) of Douglas, Steven G. Lavalley (Dona) of Newport Ritchie, FL and Becky A. Vaundell (David) of Sutton; her siblings, Rita Dion of Worcester, Blanche Aubin of Grafton, Bernice Geer of Uxbridge, Ernest Noel of Millbury and Henry Noel of Upton; her daughter-in-law Betty Lavalley of Sutton; her parents, Simeon Noel and Hermeline Noel (Lefferriere); and her great grandchild Connie Fallon. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
