Mary Rene Nickerson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Rene Nickerson (Whately, Massachusetts), born in South Hadley, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 14, 2018 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Nickerson Jr; her son Colin G.; her brothers, Terence Denehy (Beatrice), George Denehy (Marie), Francis Denehy Scott, Jack Denehy (Evelyn) and Daniel Denehy (Hazel); and her parents, Terence Denehy and Idelle Denehy (Clapp).

She is survived by: her husband Joseph H. Nickerson Jr.; her children, Marene and Joseph H. Nickerson III (Marcy); her daughter-in-law Cindy Nickerson; her grandchildren, Joe Nickerson IV (Shannon), Randy Nickerson, Glyndie Nickerson, Lisa Douglas (Duane), Angela Whitney (Brian), Colin John Nickerson (Mari), Sherrene St and Chad Nickerson; her great grandchildren, Megan Mularski (Nate), Toccara Mularski (Jimmy), Joe Nickerson V, Zach Nickerson (Liz), Ethan Douglas, Mason Douglas and Shannon Douglas; her great great grandchildren, Nathaniel Mularski, Kaylin Mularski, Taylor Mularski, Madison Mularski, McKenzie Mularski and Stella Nickerson; and her friend Hazel Denehy. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other lifelong friends.
