He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Morrissey and Edna Morrissey; and his brother Harold Morrissey Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Mahoney of Weymouth, Adoring; his stepchild Shannon Mahoney of Holbrook; his grandchildren, Jordan and Mia; and his siblings, Charles Morrissey of Mattapan and Joan Dwyer (Charles) of Weymouth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of William may be made to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
