It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose F. Sferruzza of Weymouth, Massachusetts, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Rose is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rose's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Andrew J. Sferruzza, Sr.; her children, Andrew J. Sferruzza, Jr. (Janice) of Pembroke and Joyce Puniello (Michael) of Plymouth; and her grandchildren, Andrea Pettinelli of Duxbury, Gregory Sferruzza of Kingston, Victoria Dunn of Charleston, SC, Nicole Doyle of Duxbury and Jennifer Kennedy of Kingston. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (95 Crescent St, Quincy, MA 02169). A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (115 Crescent St, Quincy, MA 02169).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rose may be made to charity of your choosing.
