He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Blanchette (Long); and his son-in-law Michael J. Mazzarella. He is survived by: his children, Roger D. Blanchette (Ana Gomez) of Weymouth and Ann Mazzarella of Halifax; his grandchildren, Christina Lonergan (Casey Lonergan) of East Bridgewater and Michael G. Mazzarella (Kara Garland) of Whitman; and his great grandchildren, Casen, Cullen, Michael Jr., Cora, Joseph, Andrew and Jameson.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keohane Funeral Home (785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
His contributions to the community were profound and deeply appreciated by those whose lives he touched.
