He was predeceased by: his parents, John Neal and Lois Neal. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen McCann Neal; his son Andrew (Celene) of Portland, OR; his grandchildren, Marina, Nathaniel and Aiden; his daughter Amy Neal Korzen (Jason) of Montclair, VA; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Tegan and Holland; his daughter Erin Neal Michelli (Michael Joseph) of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Dominic and Sophia; his sister Pamela of Cookeville, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Rita McCann White of Hingham, MA and William McCann of South Boston, MA. He is also survived by 19 loving nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations in lieu of flowers be made in honor of General Richard I. Neal to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.
