Maria V. Siegfried Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria V. Siegfried (Weymouth, Massachusetts), who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Siegfried; her children, Jay and Megan; her parents, Patricia Welch (Mashpee) and Dr. Robert Welch; her siblings, Megan Alayo (Carlos) of Kirkand, WA, Robert Welch (Helene) of Orlando, FL and John Welch (Debbie) of Virginia Beach; her parents-in-law, Margo and Ed Siegfried; her sisters-in-law, Jane Watson (Marc) and Emily Elliott (James); her children, Maria, John and Cape Cod; and her pet Cooper. She was also cherished by aunt to her 16 nieces and nephews, her family, whether visiting with her mom.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (72 Washington St, Weymouth, MA 02188).
In celebration of Maria's favorite ministries, donations in her memory can be made to St. Basil's Salvatorian Center, Methuen; and Sacred Heart Parish/Our Lady Queen of Peace Collaborative, Weymouth.
