It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karl J. Ryan Jr. (Weymouth, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Mary Reilly and Margaret Kennedy; and his siblings-in-law, Theodore, Elizabeth Schlosky, Joseph, Rita Chalifoux, Vivienne, Charles Begin, Thomas Kennedy, Gerard Reilly and Edward Wilkins.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy L. Ryan (Schlosky); his children, Christopher T. Ryan (Danielle) of Seattle, WA, Elizabeth M. Gagnon (Greg) of Derry, NH and Karl J. Ryan III (Kristin) of Rockland; his grandsons, Joseph T. Gagnon, William D. Gagnon of Derry, NH and Liam M. Ryan of Rockland, MA.; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Schlosky. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190).
