With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John R. Politano Jr. of Weymouth, Massachusetts, born in Revere, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Marybeth Kane; his parents, John R. Politano, Sr. and Geraldine Politano (Voto); and his brothers, Ralph, Dana and Joseph Politano.
He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Politano (Dunphy); his son R. J. of Stoughton; and his pet Max. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald KeohaneFuneral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (1203 Commercial St, Weymouth, MA 02189).
