With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan E. Ahern of Weymouth, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Salenius and Victor Salenius; her spouse Francis J. Ahern; and her siblings, Peter Salenius and Judith McLaughlin.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Smith (Daniel), Susan Easton (David), Francis Ahern (Susan), Deborah Maher (Joseph), Laura Newell of Weymouth, William Ahern (Mary), Carol Shaw (Ricky) and Edward Ahern of Marshfield; and her sister Victoria Salenius.
