He is survived by: his son James M. Halpin, Jr. (Annie) of Colorado; his grandchild Chandra Hawthorne (Jesse) of Texas; and his caregivers, Jackie, Michael, Bob, Abby, Lisa and Patricia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
